Oil Well Cementing Analyzers

Today, Chandler Engineering, the industry's largest instrument supplier continues its effort to help customers improve the efficiency and productivity of their drilling and production operations. Below is a portfolio of API and ISO specified instruments for testing key performance properties of oil well cements.

Model 7322 TN

Consistometers - are designed to test a cement's thickening time under a variety of downhole conditions in compliance with API standards. Single and dual-cell models are available.

Model 4265 UCA TN

Compressive Strength - testers are used to determine the compressive strength development, gel strength development and elastic moduli of oil well cement under simulated downhole conditions.

Model 5265 SGSA TN

Gel Strength - offer simultaneous measurement of a cement slurry's static gel strength development and its compressive strength development while it is curing under downhole temperature and pressure conditions.

Model 7150 Gas Migration Analyzer
 Gas Migration - are used to evaluate a cement slurry's susceptibility to invasive gas or liquid flow by realistically simulating the well parameters including temperature, hydrostatic head pressure, fluid formation pressure and the pressure gradients that drive these invasive flows.

Model 6265 Mechanical Properties TN
Mechanical Properties - continuously measures the elastic mechanical properties (Poisson's Ratio, Young's modulus, Bulk Modulus) and the compressive strength of API cement as it cures under high-temperature and high-pressure conditions.

Model 7120 Fluid Loss
Fluid Loss - measures the fluid loss properties of cement slurries in accordance with API standards. Fluid Loss testers were designed to be as easy to use as possible, with clear and intuitive controls. Once the cement slurry or mud is placed into the test cell, a programmable temperature controller increases the temperature at the desired rate. The slurry is conditioned by stirring at 150 rpm similar to a consistometer.

Model 3500 TN
Cement Viscosity - units are used to determine the flow tendencies of completion, drilling and production. Choose from Direct Indicating Viscometers, Computer Controlled Viscometers or Direct Indicating Field Viscometers.

Model 3260 Constant Speed Mixer TNSlurry Preparation - Constant Speed Mixers blend cement slurry at an automatic maintained, constant shear rate in accordance with API standards. Atmospheric Consistometers are a simple and accurate means to prepare cement slurries for the testing of rheological properties, fluid loss and various other properties in strict compliance with API standards. Wettability Testers are two instruments in one; a constant speed mixer and an instrument for the evaluation of oil/water phase transition of oil-based drilling fluids as they interact with spacer and/or pre-flush systems.
