The Fluid Technology product line includes items pioneered by Ruska Instrument Corporation, formally the leading supplier of mercury-based PVT equipment. The PVT equipment developed and manufactured by Chandler Engineering are mercury free and highly automated through computer control. These phase behaviour systems are the most widely accepted analytical (PVT) systems worldwide.

The study of the thermophysical properties of fluids (especially reservoir fluids) such as phase behaviour, density, viscosity, and classic PVT studies etc. has since expanded to include the analysis of a wide range of chemicals. Chandler Engineering continues to develop and improve products to meet the changing needs of the Oil & Gas industry.
